Wow Mothers day…already..and then Summer..bring it on!!

 I photographed a couple of Senior girls from India. They wore their traditional dress…

I photographed a beautiful 8 month little girl…she was the Gerber Baby…her mom was visiting from near Washington.

I had the pleasure of a Grandpa bringing in his 2 grandsons 10 & 6.  He told me that for the last 10 years he has taken them on Wed. to dinner anywhere they want.

I had the pleasure to photograph a 7 day old little boy.  It is such a compliment to have the parents tell me that they had specifically searched me out to photograph their son.

  The dad shared with me how he has chosen to be with his son in all circumstances. He went to each doctor appointment and has pledged to be there at everything, for his little boy.

  He reminded me of me.  I have always put my children before income. It is always the same…every school function I go to….me & all the mothers.

I photographed a senior who has been accepted in the Naval Academy. She is so full of hope & her parents are so proud. Her dad is a former Naval Officer. We took a photo of her with a daisy. During the order the mom mentioned her sis passed away not too long ago & daisies were favorite. So she order one for her late sisters husband……………….

This week started off Awesome…My first full week back….MONDAY MONDAY, can’t trust that day…do you know who wrote/sung this ????

I Started out photographing 2 girls ages 2 & 4 outside with cute little dresses on…the big sister was so good with her little sister…they were so fun & good for me…

I then photographed a Senior 08…her mom was telling me how independant she is…since she was born…her last child at home…she has two brothers…both pre-med at differant places…and now this senior will be pre-med…. Mom & Dad are both proffessors…she was telling me how teaching is on-line now….things are a changin’…

 I had a grandma come in to order from last week. Her daughter lives in England along with her son in law & grandson. She was sharing how much she misses him…how he hugged her leg before he left…she shared with me how he is already playing football ( soccer )…. at 3 years old….Grandma was such a blessing to come in..she was such an inspiration & differant…

I took Monday & Tuesday off to take my daughter to the State Golf Tourniment…she tied for 10th in State as a freshman…I know the meaning of SWELLING WITH PRIDE..

On Wedsday I played catchup…I had a senior session of a girl who had lost her mother at 14 years old….she brought a jewelry case with her & mentioned that it was her moms….she has a “2nd” mom that does “mom things” with her….life is like jewels..don’t let it waste…

 I had to pick up my dog Jack from the kennel….being boarded…wow he was glad to see me…

I took an order from a young family…who had been up all night with the same baby there were ordering pictures of…I forget the work in a young baby…

Went on location with a family of 4…(2 children 3 & 7)….I love to see the kids run around outside while being dressed up with  the mom telling the not to get dirty…yea…thats gonna happen…

Started my Thursday…with my dog Jack ,,,chewing up one of my compact flash cards with images on it….I had to send it in to a data recovery company in Houston…please pray for me…

 Photographed a self proclaimed ” Oldest first time bride in Texas”…50 years old with beautiful eyes…never been married with no children…she was so nice & fun….yes…people do get married later in life…..sometimes later than others….

I had a client come in and say that my blog was not up to date. They are correct.

  The client that brought this to my attention was a mom of a senior. Her & her daughter had an interesting story. The mom came from Ireland when she was 18 to become a

nanny in the US. She went to work with a prestigious family and thought that all of Texans lived like this.

AND NOW..I will catch up many months in few sentences..here goes..

 Tessa my #1 does not work here anymore..she is living her dream..I miss her…

I quit photographing from planes…& have done 2 more…

My daughter is going to the State Competition in golf as a freshman in HS

We have changed churches…I miss my kids at our old church..

I am learning more about our children leaving home, everytime I photograph a Senior…

 I photographed 7 families on the court house lawn…right after the families adopted a child ….

Never admit whose Thanksgiving dressing is better.. you mom or mom in laws…

As I knew..jewlery always works as a gift…

Well I hope that to keep logging in my weeks this year…hope someone else out there enjoys my endless going ons…..mb

  It is amazing to see how children develop different personality traits at such a young age. The parents are art people , so we got along well and produced some stunning images.

Produced amazing images of a senior boy

The young man is so full of life. He has a new truck to take to college. His mom is so emotional & such a God lover. She makes me think of how I will be emotionaly when my children reach her sons age. She explained how her son had some difficult situations already in his young life & has come through them not unhurt but beautiful like a rainbow. The compassion of this mom was such a blessing to encounter.

Had a parent teacher conference with my sons teacher

He is all boy, reminds me of me.  He is active & very social. I always received x’s on my report card for the same things every time. That is, talks to much in class, needs more self control. Some things never change.

Went over some new Christmas Cards

 Yes it is that time. The best time of the year. Jesus’s Birthday.

Went on location with a 2 yr old in camo

This boy is so cute. He had his camo on walking around in the bushes. He was running for no reason, just like he should. The mom is so nice & has a wonderful “curvy” face that she got from her dad. Go figure ! She was so agile & fit chasing after her son, being that she is 7 months pregnant!

  I have photographed this family from day one. The little girl used to cry before every session utill she got older. Then came her brother who cried before every session untill he got older. Now all is good. When they were very little I photographed this classic shot of the two of them together. She was crying as hard as she can, and he had  his finger up his nose. This image sits on the dads desk at the bank he works at. Classic !!!

Went to the Spooky Art Show at the Longview Museum of Fine Art

 This show is comprised of Halloween art from all the local schools. The museum always does a great job. If you do not volunteer for the arts, they will go away.
